As you have no doubt heard via the many news sources, Sir Patrick Moore passed away today at the age of 89.
He was one of the strongest literary influences in my early life, which led to my lifelong interest in Science Fiction and Space Exploration. I think I read all his science fiction works before I even became a teenager.
His writing inspired me and, I have to admit, I enjoyed watching “The Sky At Night” although I cannot claim to have been a regular viewer.
Rest in peace, Patrick. You will be missed.
Assuming they keep The Sky At Night going, if only as a tribute, who else would like to see Dara O’Briain hosting it?
