Things are progressing well with the final edit of Astronomicon: Icarus, and I expect the book to be through proofreading and available on Amazon before the end of January 2013. Unlike my previous books, which have all been Astronomicon Core stories, this one is an Astronomicon Universe story and does not require any prior knowledge of the overall Astronomicon story.
I believe that removing the two penultimate chapters and completely replacing them was the right thing to do and has led to a much more powerful and compelling ending. Now I’m left wondering how I’m going to top this one in my next novel!
If you like classic science fiction with an interesting scenario, a mystery and some action scenes then Icarus is well worth a try.
