Shake-the-Tree Publishing
A small, UK-based publishing concern which handles the publication of all the Astronomicon books. They specialise in Science-Fiction and eBooks and entered the world of publishing for the first time in 2011.

Wattpad
With 45 million active users, millions of stories, free apps for Windows, Android & iOS and many very lively forums, it’s a great community and well worth getting to know.

Astronomicon on Minds.com
Minds is a new social networking site, rather like a combination of Facebook and Twitter. It’s a clear-cut layout and easy-to-learn interface is excellent and with a rapidly growing user base, I believe this is going to be a major system in a short timescale. Visiting the community, interacting, voting etc. all earn you points. These points accumulate surprising quickly and can be used to boost your posts or profile like paid adverts on other platforms. Give it a try – you won’t regret it!

Victor Habbick Visions
I have recently been working through and revamping the cover art on all the Astronomicon novels. A critical part of this was incorporating the amazing science fiction artwork of Victor Habbick. His designs now grace the covers of The Beginning, Those Left Behind and Icarus.

Ken Magee
Ken Magee writes contemporary fantasies which blend adventure and humour with technology and magic. His books live under the tagline ‘ancient magic meets the Internet’. He pretends that they’re works of fiction, because he’s afraid of the powerful people behind the conspiracies…

Symphony of Science
Look out for “A Glorious Dawn” (one of the earliest songs they produced) featuring a “singing” performance from Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking. It’s a catchy tune with a wonderful message, but better than that, it’s probably the only place you’ll hear Stephen Hawking singing!

e-library
Feel free to browse thousands of eBooks in 80+ categories. They offer hundreds of free eBooks!

GoodReads.com
A site for anyone who enjoys reading. Every genre in existence is covered, with a mass of interest groups, forums, discussion, quizzes, polls and much more. Find out more about your favourite authors. One excellent feature which really stands out is their book recommendations – simply tell the site what your favourite authors and books are and GoodReads.com will recommend other books and authors that you will probably enjoy too. It’s a great way to find out about other authors.

Smarty – Great Mobile Phone Service
I don’t usually recommend products or services but Smarty has been truly excellent (and I’ve tried most of the big ones). With unlimited anytime minutes and unlimited texts for just £6.25 per month with no contract, they are tough to beat on cost too. That price includes 1GB of 4G/5G data too and if you don’t use all your data you can get a refund each month upto £1.25 off your bill. And, if you sign up with this link, you get a free month and I get one too!
